INSURANCE

Anchor General Insurance Agency, Inc. was founded in 1995 to serve as a program administrator for several California admitted insurance companies. From its formation, Anchor’s focus has been to provide competitive products to the non-standard automobile insurance market.  By utilizing state of the art technology, Anchor provides top quality policy administration, proficient claims handling, and strict cost control.  In 2000, Anchor selected ICI Solutions to install a FileNet imaging and COLD application to support their policy administration.  Incoming policy related forms are scanned and indexed into the imaging system.

Most recently, Anchor General's customers are not only recognizing the need to actively manage multiple content repositories, but are also taking the next step to plan for the future by leveraging FileNet P8's market-leading content and process management capabilities across their enterprise. By extending their FileNet ECM solutions to include the comprehensive product suites of FileNet P8, our customers are increasing their business efficiency, employee productivity and improving customer service, while preserving existing investments.

A Mortgage Insurance Company headquartered in California and through its subsidiaries,  is known as one of the largest private mortgage insurers in the United States, Australia, New Zealand, and throughout the European Union. Also well-known as the largest mortgage guaranty re-insurer in Hong Kong and furthermore, a leader in mortgage risk management technology providing various products and services for the home mortgage finance industry as well as title insurance.  ICI Solutions was selected to install a FileNet imaging and workflow solution in their Claims Processing department and their Accounts Payable Department.  The Accounts Payable FileNet solution is used to capture and archive invoices and expense reports after they’ve been processed.   The FileNet system is tightly integrated with the insurer's Peoplesoft ERP application that provides data used during the image indexing process. The Claims department currently uses FileNet as a tool to assist in process claims, facilitate customer service and as a research tool to provide backup information for claims adjudication. 

FINANCIAL SERVICES

One of the largest Financial Services organizations in the United States who provides banking, insurance, estate planning, investments, mortgage and consumer finance from 5,400+ stores, the Internet and other channels in North America and internationally, solicited ICI Solution in acquiring a FileNet imaging system for their commercial lending division.  ICI Solutions provided loan archival, customer service and booking automation for their commercial loans.  While the initial objective of the system was to improve booking productivity and customer service, the organization intends to closely integrate the FileNet system with the loan origination process and fully automate the workflow in the lending process.    A powerful aspect of this system is that it uses the distributed power of FileNet – enabling thousands of people to access the system from across the United States – while simultaneously backing the images and indexes up at alternative sites for disaster prevention.

A Large Regional Credit Union acquired a FileNet imaging system from ICI Solutions to improve the signature card management within Branch Operations and loan processing within the Loan Department.  Processes in these departments are hindered by having to manually sort, file, re-file, and manage the documents.  ICI Solutions implemented the system and created a custom indexing application that extracted index information from the Credit Unions XP Line-of-Business application and used to update the FileNet document indices.   Today the credit union is capturing a wide range of documents such as signature cards, IRA documents, and a variety of lending documents.  Having the signature cards and lending documents on-line have enabled the credit unions employees to instantly retrieve the original documents and use in customer service or lending phone calls and problem resolution.
